New Year’s Week Garbage Schedule
In observance of the New Year holiday, city offices will be closed on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, and Thursday and Friday, January 1 and 2, 2026. Please note the following changes to the garbage schedule:

2026 Glen Dale Pool Passes are available for purchase. Forms may be picked up at the City Building or printed from the City website.
Retirement of Alfonso “Pancho” Flores II
At the City Council meeting on Monday, December 22, 2025, Alfonso "Pancho" Flores II was recognized for his retirement after 26 years of service to the City of Glen Dale.
Water Boil Order Notice
Due to a water line break, customers on the 300 block of Lee Street are on a 48 hour boil order notice, starting December 16, 2025 at 9:30 pm.
