During a routine inspection it was found that the filtration system for the Glen Dale pool has developed a major malfunction. This malfunction is causing the chemicals to be at an unsafe level. Due to this failure and out of an abundance of caution, the Glen Dale Park and Recreation Board and the City of Glen Dale have made the unfortunate decision to shut down the pool for the rest of the season. We are very sorry for any inconvenience and will have this rectified by Memorial Day’s grand opening next year.
