At the August 28th council meeting, Tom Cook was sworn in as a new member of City Council. Mr. Cook fills the vacant position with a term expiring in 2026. 

Effective August 17, 2023, city business such as city licenses, tax payments, building permits, etc., are only accepted during office hours, Monday through Friday 8 am to 4 pm, excluding holidays. These items may also be submitted and paid online at www.GlenDaleWV.gov.

The City of Glen Dale is accepting sealed bids for 2 Street Sweepers and a Chevy Pickup Truck. 1990 Model Street Sweeper, GMC Cab, Johnston 600 Series Bed, Diesel Motor on Truck, Diesel Pony Motor - Diesel Motors are operable. 1991 Model Street Sweeper, GMC
