The City of Glen Dale is sad to hear of the passing of retired City Recorder Jerry Trembush. Mr. Trembush served the City of Glen Dale for nearly 40 years before retiring in July. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

As we start into fall, we would like to remind residents to place leaves into bags, not into the street. Leaves can clog storm drains and cause slick roadways when it rains. Thank you for your cooperation!

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, computer experience, good communication skills, and the ability to multi-task. At the August 28th council meeting, Tom Cook was sworn in as a new member of City Council. Mr. Cook fills the vacant position with a term expiring in 2026. 

Effective August 17, 2023, city business such as city licenses, tax payments, building permits, etc., are only accepted during office hours, Monday through Friday 8 am to 4 pm, excluding holidays. These items may also be submitted and paid online at www.GlenDaleWV.gov.
