Passing of retired City Recorder Jerry Trembush
The City of Glen Dale is sad to hear of the passing of retired City Recorder Jerry Trembush. Mr. Trembush served the City of Glen Dale for nearly 40 years before retiring in July. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
Leaves
As we start into fall, we would like to remind residents to place leaves into bags, not into the street. Leaves can clog storm drains and cause slick roadways when it rains. Thank you for your cooperation!
Trick-or-Treat set
Trick or Treat for the City of Glen Dale will be on Halloween, October 31st, from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
Accepting Applications for Telecommunicator
The City of Glen Dale is accepting applications for a full-time telecommunicator (dispatcher) position. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, computer experience, good communication skills, and the ability to multi-task. Tom Cook sworn in to City Council
At the August 28th council meeting, Tom Cook was sworn in as a new member of City Council. Mr. Cook fills the vacant position with a term expiring in 2026.
