Street and Sanitation Department Job Openings
The City of Glen Dale is accepting applications for one full-time and one part-time seasonal street and sanitation department employee. The seasonal position will be through October and hours may vary. Applications are available at the city building or on our website. Applications are due
New Council Meeting Time
Beginning with the July 10, 2023, meeting, Glen Dale City Council meetings will begin at 6:00 pm. Meetings will continue to be held on the second and fourth Monday of each month at the Glen Dale City Building.
The Glen Dale Pool is Open!
The Glen Dale swimming pool is open for the season! Our hours are Monday through Saturday, 11 am to 7 pm and Sundays from 12pm to 6pm. Pool parties are available. The pool can be reached at (304) 845-8620.
Paving Project
Paving will begin on May 15th. Below is the tentative schedule, subject to weather or unforeseen circumstances. The tentative plans are: Monday afternoon, 5/15: Move in and prep work on some of the streets that are not being milled (primarily Baltimore and W.Baltimore) Tuesday, 5/16:
