The Street and Sanitation Department are under the direct supervision of the Street Commissioner. The Street Department maintains city grounds and structures, conducts street repairs and street cleaning, and maintains all street sign.

The Sanitation Department is responsible for trash collection (residential and commercial) and special pickups. The Sanitation Department is not permitted to transport any hazardous materials.
