The City of Glen Dale is accepting letters of interest to fill an unexpired term of a Council Seat for the remaining term through June 30, 2026.
Interested persons must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible and a resident of the city for one year prior to the term of office.
A Council Member is responsible for carrying out business transactions including approval of rates/fees, expenditures, and contracts of financial obligation and to follow all ordinance procedures in accordance with the statutes and laws of the State of West Virginia.
Please mail or hand deliver the letter of interest to Melodie Rentfrow, City Clerk, 402 Wheeling Avenue, Glen Dale, WV 26038. Letters may also be emailed to glendalewv@glendalewv.gov.
Any interested person must submit a letter by Friday, July 5th, 2024 by 4:00p.m.
Letters received after the deadline will not be considered.
